A little history about these E-books

During the course of my journey I began to write about the thoughts, feelings and emotions that I was experiencing and also the understandings I was deriving as the result of my mini healings, using the various "tools" I had developed. At the same time, I was also writing the messages I was receiving from my guides, that also helped and inspired me.

In 2001, a few months after experiencing my second level of healing, I decided to write a book about my journey and the healing experiences I had, along with the tools I used, as I felt that I needed to share this with others that were also searching to heal and understand their feelings and emotions. While in the process of writing, I was still working on my other issues and going through different healing experiences. In 2003 / 2004, I tried to get my book "Journey to the Heart Centre" published, but after countless query letters to agents and publishers, and no takers, I decided to put my book on hold.

I continued to work on healing my issues and I also started to share my experiences by holding workshops and one-on-one sessions at various locations, using the "tools" that had helped me, to now help others help themselves. I continued my journal writing, but I was no longer transcribing them to my computer, as I felt there was no point until I got my first book published. A couple of years ago, Print On Demand (POD) publishers began to spring up on the internet, and I had a renewed interest in getting my works self-published. I searched various POD publishers and decided to go with Lulu, as it would give me what I wanted, which was the ability to provide a free E-book, and a printed book on demand for those that wanted a printed version.

I then looked at my original manuscript that included an Appendix that contained the meditation "tools" that I had been using on my healing journey. When I looked at the "tools" with my now expanded point-of-view, I felt they were incomplete and lacking. I decided to remove the 35 pages from the Appendix and to expand it, to create a separate book which I then called, "Journeys from the Heart Centre." Removing the "tools" was also going to make my first book smaller and more manageable.

My first manuscript, "Journey to the Heart Centre," also included my first two levels of healing, but since the time of writing it, I have had many more mini healings along with another major level of healing, with more insights and understandings related to all three levels. Having been asked about my healing experiences and journey, I posted excerpts of my manuscript on my websites (old free ones and present) including the first level of healing I experienced. A couple of years ago, I decided to copy the first two levels from my manuscript, and transcribe the third level, and then post all three on my website. After deciding to make the "tools "a separate book, I also decided to make these three healing experiences and the new related material I now had, the source of another book called, My Journey "Three levels of Healing." While the first two experiences are copies of the original, the added material is not a part of the original book. This new material adds greatly to ones understanding of not only how we come to have issues with our emotions and how we can heal them, but also how they relate to the rest of our being.

While the first manuscript "Journey to the Heart Centre" that I wrote a few years ago had all the right elements, journey, healing experiences and tools, they were not in the order that they needed to be. That is to say, that I now felt I needed to take the basic elements of the tools and healing experiences and write two new books, and present them in a way that people reading them could experience them in the same way that I did, along with the added guidelines and insights. That means that to bring about healing and self-empowerment one needs to first work with the tools and have the healing experiences associated in using them so that they can gain the understanding they need to move forward. Separating and then expanding the tools and levels of healing to create new books and then changing the order is what I have done, and while it may seem confusing, the books are now in the order they are meant to be.

What was my first manuscript, "Journey to the Heart Centre" will now be the third book in the series, and while it no longer includes the tools, it does contain the first two levels of healing that I experienced, along with sharing the trials and tribulations I went through in the process. After you have read and worked with the "tools" in the first book, and then read my personal healing experiences that were experienced using the tools, then when you read book #3 - "Journey to the Heart Center," you will understand how it all fits together. Following that, Book-4 "The Empath's Dilemma," will add to and expand on what has already been given.

box By the beginning of Oct. 2008, I had Book #1 ready to go in both an e-Book and printed version, and I was about to set up my book site on Lulu, when I discovered that they had significantly increased their prices, making the retail book price unrealistic. In debating the price increase in their forum, I also found out that their shipping policy and prices were also out of touch with reality. In short, what I learned from that experience was that the media is not the message, that it's not the form of the message, but the "message" that is important. I then decided to simply provide the E-book in a PDF format and then let those that want a printed version to either print it out on their printer in a (8.5" x 11") format, or have it printed at a local photocopy business. Although the book won't look as pretty, the cost will be far less than the price of the book, taxes, shipping and handling, and you could have it when you want it.
